Notes:
This is a very nice DVDRip indeed. Quality is superb and the audio is excellent. I myself am not a fan of horror movies but the Resident Evil series makes an exception. I enjoyed the movie and I hope you do too.

Plot Summary:
Resident Evil: Extinction (RE:E) is set five years after the catastrophic events that took place in Raccoon City in the second film, Resident Evil: Apocalypse (RE:A). The Umbrella Corporation had failed to quarantine the outbreaks of the T-Virus, which resulted in about 98% of the world’s population being infected. The story begins with a handful of human survivalists traveling around the remnants of the desolate world in heavily armored convoys. The movie setting takes place primarily in a now barren, deserted Las Vegas wasteland and Alice (Milla Jovovich), the movie’s main protagonist, leads the caravan of human survivors through the Nevada desert on a long trek to Alaska, where it was discovered that there are no infections.

Along the way, it is determined that the heinous Umbrella Corporation is continuing its evil work and must be destroyed once and for all. And so the stage is set for the last movie in the Resident Evil trilogy: Sought after by the evil underlings of the diabolical Dr. Isaacs, Alice has Undeads hungry for her flesh, and lab rats hungry for her blood - whilst Alice hungers for only one thing: revenge!

Nondestructive Skin Editing

This process is supported through new tools for inserting, moving, deleting, connecting, and disconnecting joints on a bound skeleton, as well as support for multiple bind poses.

FlashBoot is a tool that makes USB disks bootable. It was specially designed to work with USB Flash devices. It is used to reformat flash disk (that's optional) and transfer system files to it.

You have many options for your choice:

- convert BartPE bootable CD-ROM to bootable USB disk.
- transfer DOS kernel only (you may get the files from installed Windows 9x, from Windows 9x setup folder, or use built-in FreeDOS).
- convert floppy disk to USB Flash disk (a diskette or an image file may be used).
- convert a bootable CD-ROM to USB Flash disk (again images are supported). There are some technical difficulties with supporting any type of CD-ROM here, see details below. But there should be no troubles with the most real cases. You may convert Knoppix and EBCD, for instance.
- create Windows NT/2000/XP password recovery disk.
- create disk with NT/2000/XP bootloader. It would be useful when you have mistakenly configured it, and boot.ini file was left on unreachable disk (NTFS).
- duplicate USB flash disk. Just creates a copy of existing disk USB flash disk, different sizes of source and destination medias are OK.

Types of convertible CD-ROM's include so-called 1.44-floppy emulation bootable CD-ROM's and no-emulation CD-ROM's based on ISOLinux.
FlashBoot is designed to be compatible with most of the BIOSes. Some of them require USB disk to be partitioned (USB-HDD mode), some of them require superfloppy format (USB-ZIP mode). You may choose disk format type between partitioned disk and superfloppy, when formatting your USB Flash disk with FlashBoot (if you choose to reformat). You may write the output to image file, transfer it to another PC and write it to physical device there (either with FlashBoot or with any other suitable tool, for example, with Linux dd command).

This CD is meant to "autoboot" meaning that when the CD is placed in the tray, and your computer is rebooted or turned off/on, the system will boot to the OS located on the CD. You may have to change some BIOS settings if your computer does not look to the CD before the HD for system booting. You may also have to press a key during boot to bring up a menu to choose your boot device.

Note: My philosophy is that this is mainly a Rescue CD, and not a replacement Operating System. As such, some apps will almost certainly not be updated as they perform well in this environment, and updating will only serve to add bloat and therefore decrease CD space for additional apps. Examples include, but are not limited to Nero & WinZIP. Additionally, the menu system is purposefully not alphabetized - it is highly customized, and in the order I want it.

* requires a minimum of 128MB to run a minimal amount of apps. The more RAM you have, the greater likelihood that all apps will work correctly. I have 512MB on an old Dell PIII 500mHz and all apps work. If an app doesn't work, there's a good chance you don't have a enough memory.
* Some apps will simply not work exactly as they do in regular Windows. Just accept it - it is a consequence of PE, which is NOT a replacement operating system.
* Colors look bad on screen? - this is usually due to onboard graphics, often Intel Extreme Onboard Graphics. There is no fix Crying or Very sad.
* One of these days, I'll get around to writing a tutorial on how to update the AV definitions. It's not that difficult for "power" users, but may be a little daunting for those with limited experience.

* "'Such-and-such' app comes up as unregistered" - my guess is you are running miniPE from within Windows and not as a bootCD. To fully appreciate miniPE's power, you should boot FROM the CD - you may have to change a BIOS setting to have your computer's first boot device to be the CD drive. Alternately, some newer Dells require you to press F12 during boot to have an option menu appear that will allow you to boot from the CD.
* Winternals apps "greyed out" - you must select the first menu option and define where your Windows installation resides - then return to the Winternals menu and the apps will be available.

miniPE is a suite of apps that fit on a CD.
